Taken on the local campus. You can see how the local trees are suffering from drought. I think the frame came out nicely. |

Lalala, I am Horrible and Never Update.
Here, have some pictures I took with my very "sophisticated" cell-phone camera!

Zazzle
I have set up a Zazzle store and have started uploading images that I think would make good postcards. I can set royalties here and cash out at $25 increments. Zazzle has its pros and cons, but I'd really rather spend more effort on handmade paper crafts than trying to produce my own prints and cards, then calculating how much my time, gas and such are worth.
So, here it is Satyr Grove on Zazzle. I'll be updating whenever there are new items in the shop, but for now here's a simple bunch of cards, pendants and the like.

Getting Underway with Photo Uploading.
Hi all~! I am super sick today, so I am chilling and beginning to upload the huge backlog of my photography to deviantArt.
Please check out my Photo Gallery and see what prints I have available here. I apologize for the watermarks but I don't want people using my high quality uploads as stock.
If anyone can recommend a better place to source prints through, please let me know! I am going to be looking in to Zazzle and the like. I'd also love to make a small book of photos one day, maybe through Lulu.
Have a lovely day!

My Cameras
I'll start this out with a post on photography, since that's the art medium I am the most comfortable with. I try to have some sort of camera with me at all times and love taking pictures.
So, my travel camera is pretty basic. I use a 12 MPG KODAK EASYSHARE M341 Digital Camera and it can take some great shots, has lovely options and wasn't too terribly pricey. Here are some examples of recent shots.
A macro of winter grass heads. Note the texture and color. Not bad for a camera anyone can use!
Another macro; red berries against snow. A bit grainy when you view it at full rez, but not bad!
Without getting in to too many details about my lens, focal length, etc., my main camera is a Cannon Rebel XT 8 MPG SLR. It's a bit "old", since these cameras "age" quickly, but it does a perfectly decent job without those extra 4+ MPGs!
Nice color and detail! I will also note that this was taken from a good 20 feet away.
And, finally, when nothing else is on hand, I use my Droid. The camera has, I believe, 5.2 MPG? Still better than my first digital, a whopping 3 MPG that ate batteries like no tomorrow. To fancy up the photos I use an application called Vignette. You can use this to translate low resolution into 'old fashioned' style photos.
Toy Camera mode with Instant Transfer 2 frame. All the niceties of Hipster style photography without the refrigerated film, old cameras and messy chemicals.
A fun note on this entry. I am trying to use deviantArt for storage and linking. (And possibly print options later on?) In the few moments I spent uploading and adding descriptions to these photos, I got more +favs than I have on any other account.
